About Me

Square

I am an L.A.-based editor, writer, podcast host, and audio producer. Currently, I’m an editor for the Travel vertical at NerdWallet, where I write about how to travel with points and miles. I also co-host NerdWallet’s Smart Travel podcast. My travel stories have been syndicated nationally and featured in AP, MarketWatch, Nasdaq, and other outlets.

I’m also a freelance audio producer that loves to produce narrative podcast series and radio features.

You can hear my work on:

  •  Crushed, Lost in Sports, and False Idol, three narrative sports podcasts from PRX and Religion of Sports (a media company founded by Tom Brady, Michael Strahan and Gotham Chopra)
  • The Lead, a daily sports podcast from Wondery and the Athletic
  • Blind Landing, an indie sports podcast
  • The Longest Game, an episode from Radio Diaries and ESPN 30 for 30 Podcast
  • Pink Card, an series from Shirazad Productions and ESPN 30 for 30 Podcast
  • The Bag Game, an investigative series from ESPN 30 for 30 Podcast
  • Shopify Masters, the flagship podcast for Shopify
  • Let’s Talk Clipped, a companion for the Hulu show Let’s Talk Clipped

Previously, I’ve worked on the digital and newscasts teams at Southern California’s public radio stations, KPCC and KCRW, and on the sponsorship team at NPR. And yes, I love sports. I’ve also interned at NBC Olympics.

I graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Print & Digital Journalism and a minor in web technology.

When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, mac n’ cheese, and marathons (both TV shows and running). I’m originally from Alexandria, VA.
